Ya. It is obviously a problem loading libs at runtime, so we should set LD_RUN_PATH or rpath when compiling libs.
One problem is that rpath is os/compiler specific.
Yesterday I fixed problems on my NetBSD vm, using -Wl,-rpath,LIBDIR. I think I need to find a way to guess the flags right for the current system...
