The CESM use case has recently been updated to create a 'driver' module and then separate modules for each aoflux scheme.

UFS should also incorporate this idea; it would allow easier implementation of A-O flux schemes which could, at some point, reside in the MOM6 repo and contain an explicit diurnal cycling for skin temperature. This idea has been proposed/discussed w/ @sanAkel.
