expense history chart does not refresh when updating a transaction

I don't know if it's supposed to ...

I selected a category and noticed a transaction is miscategorized. I updated the transaction, but the history bar graph was not refreshed with the new total.

Good question, currently the "history chart" is just a summary of transactions in the current view, and since the current view does not immediately remove the categorized transaction when you are in "view by transactions" mode, the history is not updated. I thought about removing the transactions immediately but figured that might be a bit annoying in the case you wanted to make some other edits while you were at it. So interesting UX design question here and I'm not sure what the right answer is.

I agree.
How about a refresh button, so one does not have to click away and come back? It would refresh the list of transactions and the graph.

I think I found a reasonable fix. When the edit of a row is "committed" usually by moving to the next row, then if you are in a "view by categories" or "view by payees" mode and the category or payee has changed so it should no longer be in the view, then it is removed from the view and the charts are updated.
