Updating the IRremote Library

Hello,

how can we get an updated build with a newer version of the IRremoteESP8266 Library?
There are many new supported devices that this build does not have.

Is it possible to only update this library or do we need a new .bin firmware?

Can we get a newer build, or maybe a source code so we can build our custom image?

Any help would be much appreciated!

do you think you can update the bin file for esp32, or upload the code to adapt it to esp32. please !!!

Did you manage to do it? I bought a pre-built WiFi IR module using this project. It doesn't work with my AC (Hitachi RAS-E13CAK). I believe it's ESP8266 instead of ESP32.
