MethodError: no method matching close(::Nothing) with Julia 1.9

E.g. https://github.com/JuliaParallel/DistributedArrays.jl/actions/runs/5832007462/job/15816552289. Not sure what is going on here. Maybe something related to tasks has changed in 1.9. @tanmaykm any ideas?
