LaunchpadMiniMK3 on MacOS Problem

Hi! I have the following problem:

I installed the via pip on my macbook pro M3 and it seems that connecting to the launchpad miniMK3 works. lp=LaunchpadMiniMk3() works, and lp.Open() return true. The Launchpad physically turns off all LEDs at the moment when this command is executed. (not sure if "User" should remain active??)

However, from that moment on, I cannot set any LED or read events. Even the hello-example ( https://github.com/FMMT666/launchpad.py/blob/master/examples/hello.py ) does not do anything.

Do you have an idea what I am doing wrong or how I can trace the bug?

The Apple Silicon issues can usually be fixed
by compiling one's own PyGame version.

It's not too complicated and only takes a couple of minutes.
This is explained in the readme.

Please try and let us know whether or not
it's working then.

I now made it work in mido (with support of chatgpt) and look forward to check your code. Obviously the midi-queries for enabling programming mode in your code work but there is an issue with the led-color-setting
