"Processing pipelines" to allow filtering and sanitising traces

Are there any plans to support "processing pipelines" in this library, as are supported in the Ruby library to allow filtering and processing traces, for example to ignore certain ones or remove sensitive data?

It's possible to do this in the Agent with the agent's automatic scrubbing and replace rules, but there are benefits to doing this at the client level.

This is on our roadmap but not currently being worked on. I'll keep this issue updated when we start working on that.

I see that few attempts were made to introduce that in 2018...
Any chance to have this feature in 2024? This is highly required on our side.
