AFAIK if you don't use genesis file, you will need to used named network. So, I suspect removing genesis file --> requires adding how to name network
Perhaps @Gwen-M is better placed to say?

@allywhiting @m4sterbunny And to avoid surprises, would you mind tagging me (or adding me as a reviewer) on any updates to the node runner section, since I’m the main technical PoC for partner node runners? |

@Othryades it may be more appropriate if you take this issue #1277 and then @allywhiting or I can be your reviewer. WDYT? |

Besu: named network config + no --genesis-file with --network note. |

Approving given that @allywhiting confirms testing path
Removes mention of genesis files from "Run a node" -> Besu articles.
Note
Low Risk
Low risk documentation-only updates; main risk is incorrect links/flags causing users to misconfigure nodes.
Overview
Updates the “Run a node” docs to remove genesis-file setup and instead point users to named-network/profile-based configuration for Besu/Linea Besu/Maru.
In
besu.mdx, instructions now focus on downloading Compose + config only (no genesis), add Windows guidance, and explicitly setnetworktolinea_mainnet/linea_sepoliawith a note that--networkcan’t be used with--genesis-file.In
linea-besu.mdxandmaru.mdx, the content is refreshed to emphasize profiles/named networks, update the Maru run command to--network, add notes about mutually exclusive genesis flags, and tighten prerequisites/links for the Docker compose files.Written by Cursor Bugbot for commit f03fbc5.
