Script doesnt work with keyboard shortcuts

i've setup a shortcut to fullscreen windows in kde, i installed the script, and everything seems to be alright, i configured it to apply for fullscreen and maximize.
it works as it should if i press the window buttons, but not if i press the shortcuts.
script is in 0.2.4
kwin is in 5.26.5
kde frameworks at 5.101.0
not sure if needed but qt is in 5.15.8
