First mentioned here #12920 (comment) , thanks @jeromecoutant ! As an issue #12920 was closed, creating this one to track timing issue.
This seems to be the commit that causing a problem: a140ddd

Run tests-mbed_drivers-lp_timeout, be sure timing drift test cases are executed (there is a macro that could disable them)
