Tap with 2 fingers on mac trackpad issue

What happened?

When tap with 2 fingers on a tab (equivalent to right click) with MacBook trackpad, instead of a menu popping up, the cursor will slide downwards for a short distance and the menu pops up and disappears.

Expected behavior

a menu pops up upon the tab after right clicking the tab

Actual behavior

cursor slides down and the menu pops up and disappears

Steps to reproduce

1. move the cursor to any tab
2. tap with 2 fingers on the tab (using macbook trackpad)
