Streamlit version 1.51.0 - NEW custom components

Hi there,

I just wanted to post that I'm very happy to see the progress that the Streamlit team have made by releasing v2 of custom components in the 1.51.0 release.

I think this API for custom components is going to open up a lot of opportunities for blending stlite with JS tooling which I am very excited for.

Do you see any issues executing this in the sandboxed iframe?

Hi, thank you for the message and sorry my late reply.

Upgrading the internal Streamlit version to 1.51 is our next exciting work, but we haven't took a closer look into it yet and don't have any idea about integrating the Custom Component v2 with Stlite for now.

Do you see any issues executing this in the sandboxed iframe?

At the moment we understand that Custom Component v2 is not iframe-based but don't know its any details and don't have any idea about what can happen when we try to integrate it into Stlite.

Plz be patient until we start the work, and let us know if you have any ideas about these things. Thanks!
