Unable to connect device for OTA

Hi,

I tried to run the procedure described in the user's manual for OTA Upgrade but it didn't worked at all.

My ESP8266 properly runs and works well with my Lay-Z spa pump (HTTP access works well on 192.168.0.222 IP address).

Whel I try to upload the new firmware, I get this message:

I also tried on a brand new ESP running last available project version but I got the same issue.

Is there any parameter to set on the ESP to enable OTA upload ?

Maybe it isn't the correct IP-address? Any reason you're not using "layzspa.local"?

Hi,
I didn't use layzspa.lan because the address doesn't always work for me.
I ended up trying again with that address, and the download finally started.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have worked because I got my web interface back unchanged, with the message [DSP] instead of the temperature. Perhaps my 2023 version was too old for such an update.

Still, I ended up unmounting the card and updating it via USB. We'll see if the OTA update works next time.

Is it allowed in your firewall to access the hosts in your network? In the terminal, can you ping 192.168.0.222 ?

Yes, ping test on the device IP was the first thing I tried and it was successful.
On the other hand, a ping test on layzspa.local didn't work.

This morning, I tried to connect layzspa.local with my web browser and it worked. I will try again this evening. Maybe the issue was due to my 2023 version.

I will now wait until I put the spa away for the winter to do another OTA upgrade test.

I also wanted to point out that I installed the latest version of the development branch because I was having issues with temperature jumps. My tests show that the change is successful. Thanks for the fix.
