I don't think it will be a MDNS issue. It is likely the way your Wi-Fi is configured, the ESP8266 module is old so doesn't support modern standards so you may have to enable/disable a few things to get it to connect. It only supports up to WPA2 and only on b/g/n on the 2.4 GHz band so, if you have a merged 2.4GHz and 5 GHz bands, you are using WPA2/3 mixed mode, or have disabled all 3 of the supported IEEE802 protocols, it may have trouble connecting. |

Are there any special considerations that need to be addressed when connecting to a Cisco WLC, for instance does MDNS need to be enabled ETC?
I have been able to connect to the internal AP of the device but when I specify the SSID and password it never connects.
