Thanks for reporting. As far as we know, the majority users do not experience this which can mean that this is specific to e.g. certain GPUs / drivers / os versions. If reporters can provide more information. E.g. Model/year/screen size/GPU of your MacBook. |

Also Chrome 99 is out, and you can also install Chrome Canary (currently on v101) and see if the problem persists or if the Chrome team has already found it and fixed it. |

I tried this page https://deck.gl/examples/point-cloud-layer/ on the latest chrome and the canary (102.0.4971.0) and it doesn't work. That page loads fine in Firefox though. My system stats. Radeon Pro 560X |

To save your trip down the rabbit hole, this is a regression in Chrome due to some unknown performance bug in Apple's OpenGL drivers. The official recommendation is to turn on Metal backed ANGLE in your Chrome's about:flags. See: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1245448#c22 |

Just to bump this - I still have this issue when using deck.gl in both chrome and chromium based edge. Working fine on firefox. |

I just found deck.gl didn't work well after I upgrade the Chrome to the version 98.0.4758.80. Even all the offical examples (https://deck.gl/examples) can not be used as normal
Dose anyone meet this situation ?
