Soon I'll have to re-implement the maxspeed form in compose. For reimplementation, it is the same effort to either rebuilt it to work like it did before, or make the ui work differently.
So, the migration to compose I have been using to improve the UI a bit for some quests. With that I mean:
make UI more consistent and unsurprising. More common elements that look and behave the same, less custom(-looking) UI.
align overlay forms and quest forms more closely to another. The former in general have the ability to show the current situation. This feature can be added to any quest that should be re-surveyable, too, so it makes sense to design it for that capability from the get-go and for consistency.
no/less UIs with several stages, e.g. you select one thing, then the whole UI changes to ask you for something different with no way to go back. (This point also relates to the previous point)
Let's collect here ideas and wishes how the UI should look like for maxspeed and for opening hours (separately).
For maxspeed, I already have this idea:
For opening hours, there will be more flexibility and thus also maybe support more odd opening hours. I.e. current implementation is very row-by-row based.
