Hi @capricieuxV, If by "budget" you mean you're being charged, you won't actually be billed if you didn't add any payment information, which isn't required at all for students or teachers when applying for the pack. So, if you didn't add any payment method, you don't have to worry about that at all, otherwise, just remove it. Check out these two discussions that may be related to your query:

Hi @capricieuxV It sounds like you're encountering an issue with your Copilot Pro subscription under the educational package. No worries, let's try to sort this out! Here's what you can do: Check Your Payment Information If you’re still linked to your budget or a payment method, double-check whether you’ve added any payment information to your GitHub account. GitHub’s education benefits (like Copilot Pro) should not require payment info for students or educators, so if you didn’t add any, you shouldn’t be billed. If there is any payment method attached, try removing it to avoid any accidental charges. Verify the Copilot Pro Activation Ensure that you've properly activated the Copilot Pro subscription through the GitHub Education Pack. Sometimes, if it’s not fully activated, it can default back to the free plan. You can confirm your active subscription by visiting GitHub Copilot's subscription page Review the 300 Premium Requests Limitation Be aware that Copilot Pro under the education package is subject to a 300 premium requests per month limit, with additional requests costing a small fee. If you hit that limit, it may revert to the free version. Look at Related Discussions If none of this works, I’d recommend contacting GitHub support to confirm your educational benefits and resolve any potential billing issues. They’ll be able to check your account in more detail. Let me know if this helps or if you need any further clarification! 😊 |

Hi everyone,
I was approved for the educational package a couple of days ago, and it said that I have an active Copilot Pro subscription now, so I stopped using my budget, but it seems that it is still linking to my budget, and once I stopped it, it went back and used the free plan. Would be appreciated if anyone has any idea how to solve this!
