• Read the CONTRIBUTING.md file (if available)
  This file often contains important instructions on how to set up the project, coding standards, and how to submit a pull request.

• Start by fixing small things
  You can contribute by fixing typos in documentation, improving comments in the code, writing tests, or solving small bugs.

• Ask questions!
  Don’t hesitate to ask maintainers or other contributors for help understanding the code or figuring out where to begin — many people in open source love to help newcomers.
