My application was approved no benefits and no emails

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application for the GitHub Student Developer Pack and it was approved within an hour. However, it's now been over 3 days and I still haven't received access to the benefits.

Additionally, I never received any email saying that my application was approved or that the benefits are ready.

I tried to create a support ticket, but I couldn't because when I pressed continue it forwarded me to copilot and when that didn't help, it just put me back to the ticket page.

Since this isn’t during a peak semester period, I just wanted to make sure everything is working correctly.

Don't worry, that's because your benefits aren't available yet, you'll get a PRO badge on your profile once they are:

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once approved, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.

Thanks for your reply, I'll wait a few more days.
However I did try to start a ticket, but it got me in a copilot loop, is that my fault?
And why didn't I get an email for my verification?

You're welcome @F1nndegamer, I assume you have opened a ticket with the Virtual Agent but the “direct” support page is this, however if you have been successfully approved you'll most likely get a response similar to the one I've provided above. Sometimes the email is sent right after approval or after the benefits are finally available, usually it's a welcome email to GitHub Global Campus but it's not that relevant, the most important thing is the status of the application so, since you've been approved, you don't have to worry at all, just wait a few more days. 👍
