@ikitayama : POINTER variable is typically used for managing externally allocated memory (e.g. Random123 objects or vectors). In this case, NEURON can't easily determine if mod file is thread safe or not and hence the warning. If you know the mod file is thread safe, you can specify You can find various discussions on neuron forum about the same. |

@pramodk thanks for following up on this; as Michael suggested I'd investigate how to use ParallelContext class in NEURON, as I am building a few thousands of nodes. |
