ReferenceGrant has been stuck in a sort of "permabeta" because we're hoping that Kubernetes as a whole will provide this kind of supportive functionality in core. However at this point are we really close to that future?
I see a lot of coverage for ReferenceGrant from implementations, and not having it available as one of the standard APIs I think in theory makes Gateway API weaker (in practice, I think many implementations simply support it as effectively standard and enforce it anyway).
I wanted to open the question up and get people's perspectives: should we be working towards a ReferenceGrant GA?
