"Memories" push notifications for Immich - like Google Photos!

Hey everyone!

I missed the daily "memories" notifications from Google Photos, so I built a solution for Immich.

What it does:

• Sends a push notification when you have photos from "this day" in previous years
• Shows thumbnail preview + year info (e.g., "Memories from 2020, 2018")
• Tap notification → opens Immich app
• Multi-user support for the whole family

Stack:

• Python script that queries Immich API
• ntfy for push notifications (self-hosted or ntfy.sh)
• Docker for easy deployment
• Runs daily via cron/scheduler

Setup takes ~5 minutes if you already have Immich and ntfy running.

Built this mostly vibe coding! Been running smoothly on my setup. PRs and feedback welcome!
