vite-plugin-monaco-editor is abandoned?

With v5 the recommendation for Vite projects is to use vite-plugin-monaco-editor, however this project is not being maintained since 2022?

v5 is currently blocked for me by vdesjs/vite-plugin-monaco-editor#52 (or even vite-plugin-monaco-editor-esm is blocked by tanghaojie/vite-plugin-monaco-editor-esm#3)
