Is there a way to decrypt a note without using FSNotes?

I have a locked folder with about 100 notes. I'm wondering if using the FSNotes app is the only way to unlock them, or if there is a manual way, such as running a command with the encryption library and passing a password.

Just preparing for the apocalypse, in case I'm in a situation where I only have the files.

If there is already a way to do this, I could submit a PR adding instructions to the docs.

The primary targets are Swift and Objective-C, but implementations are available in C, C++, C#, Erlang, Go, Haskell, Java, PHP, Python, Javascript, Ruby, and Dart.

In the Swift example, the basic decryption would look like this:
