#373 - Lan-mouse running as a windows service, primarily to enable lan-mouse to work for UAC elevation prompts, login screen and unlock screen, it also gets auto-started on windows reboot.
Running as a windows service is completely optional, lan-mouse can still be run on windows like it is today, from the gui or via command-line, it just won't be able to work in those privileged areas mentioned.
I've been running this for about a week now and it seems pretty stable, but there's quite a bit to it, so I'd appreciate:
Anyone familiar/comfortable with rust able to do some code reviews. I'm really new to rust so would definitely appreciate any feedback even if it's style notes
I'd strongly recommend we wait for some code reviews before other people attempt to run the code
I've only got a windows 11 laptop to test this on, connected to a couple linux with niri & kde computers. So testing it on windows 10 might be helpful, maybe even the home / non-pro version of windows 11 would help, and more setups with mixing and matching different OSes, I don't currently have a mac anything to test on
