Theme not applied on WSL2 Arch Linux

I am not requesting help with my configuration and believe something is genuinely broken.

Theme background is not applied in WSL2 arch instance. I've tried various ways of setting the .tmux.conf file but nothing helps...

Everything is in .config/tmux folder...

Paste your configuration.

Your config file location is incorrect. Check out https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/tmux.1.html#DESCRIPTION, and ctrl-f for "tmux.conf".
