That’s air mode attempting to fly and ramping the motors to try and fly but because you have no props on it can’t so it keeps ramping.. normal behaviour.. you shouldn’t be letting it go so long the motors get hot. Sounds like you know very little about what your doing, I’d spend some quality time on YouTube with old Joshua |

It’s for this reason, and also to stop the bounces when landing, that I always have air mode on a switch (I use a three position switch, pre-arm disabled/ pre-arm enabled/ air-mode enabled). |

I have a Arris 250b 5-inch quad, F405 using Omnibus F4SD X2205 motors at 2300 kv flashed with Beta flight 4.3.1, flashed Bluejay version 16 set at 24 kHz Motor timing 22.5 Med high. I flashed the new firmware, went through the setup, left everything in PID at defaults, and never touched them.
props are off, I flip the arm switch to arm and if the throttle is raised even the slights, the craft will spin up to the moon, motors get hot, I disarm the craft to make the motors stop. Just getting back into the hobby with quad, am at a loss as to why it just will take off as it does
