Can this daemon be used on domain-joined non-cloud servers?

Hello,

I have a bunch of Ubuntu servers, both VMs and bare-metal, and they are all domain-joined.
Some apps need to communicate with Active Directory and I would like to leverage gMSA.

Can this daemon be used in this scenario?

Hi @wblondel

Could you use Amazon Linux 2023 in your non-cloud environment using https://docs.aws.amazon.com/linux/al2023/ug/outside-ec2-download.html , you can use 'yum install credentials-fetcher'.

Ubuntu is possible, this Dockerfile probably needs a couple of fixes, a deb package is not currently built as well.
