Given model builder factory is written in pretty much same way as supplier, this may be not as big problem as originally assumed.

Supplier allows override of method where model builder factory is used, and as comment above say, model builder factory is written in similar way as supplier, so effectively overriding it should not be impossible. Pushing out this issue for now from planned ones.
