Deliberate choice from the SimpleMobileTools days. It'll be simplified in time. |

First off, thank you so much for working on Fossify! It's really valuable to have a proper ecosystem of basic apps, particularly considering how long the AOSP apps have been abandoned.
With that said, it's time for some constructive criticism 😁 my biggest issue with Fossify apps is the huge amount of redundant settings.
For example, in Gallery, we have the options "allow deep zoomable images", and "show images in the highest possible quality". At face value, there is no reason for these not to be enabled by default. Maybe there's a good reason these are options, eg. They are experimental, but this isn't explained in the UI at all.
As a comparison in the maps app space, OSMAnd has settings for everything, and it results in a completely confusing mess which the average user doesn't want to deal with. In comparison, Organic Maps and CoMaps have rapidly risen in popularity as they try to keep the app as simple as possible.
Basically what I'm asking is, are the niche/esoteric settings a deliberate choice, or something that can be cleaned up into sensible defaults?
