Not sure what you are talking about. It looks like you are talking about Proposed Values that are detected based on filename (or folder name)? Or are you talking about auto-completion when typing in a field? Because these have been known feature for a long time, there is even a wiki page on Proposed Value because a lot of people have trouble with it. If it is some kind of bug, then you will have to give a detailed step by step to reproduce the issue. Include screenshot/video of what you are talking about, because they is no data from random books being entered without reason I can assure you. |

Thanks for the reply. Yes, this is about the proposed values. I have used the original CR for 20 years or more, so I'm familiar with how they usually work (sorry, auto-fill was the wrong term). I only recently started using CR CE (thanks for bringing it back to life, I have got a lot of use out of it over the years), so wasn't sure if this was a bug/change. This was the issue... I opened a book (Thor) to edit the series name. It was auto-completed with a proposed value. Then, I opened a Spider-Man book, and it was given a proposed value of the Thor book. Every book I opened, even whole stacks after that were given that same proposed value of Thor. I had never seen this before. Where it stands now is that I updated to the latest nightly and have not yet seen this again. It easily could have been something weird on my end. I'm going to assume it was a strange one-off, but if it happens again I will try to get you some more information. Thanks again. |

I'm not sure if this is an issue, or something that was added and I can't find the option to disable it. I've just recently started seeing fields in the info dialog auto-filling with the wrong information. For example, I edit the series name of a book... and then CR is taking that series name and auto filling it into other books each time I open the info dialog again. If this is a change of some kind, please let me know how to disable it. If it sounds like a bug, please let me know and I can open a ticket on the issue tracker. Thanks for the help.
