Feature Request: Configuration Profiles

RaspAP is currently a powerful tool with a lot of customization, but configuring the multiple options and services to achieve a certain outcome can be a tedious task. This can be daunting to those who are only familiar with commercial products.

Describe the solution you'd like

Introduce configuration profiles. As quick presets to switch between different set configurations. Said profiles could also be shared to help others with their configurations. I personally think a few default profiles that mimic what you'd find in forementioned commercial products would help those who aren't as savvy with customizing settings individually. Perhaps there could be an interface for profiles to be able to have quick settings in a profile to slightly change an interface or variable. All while still providing the ability to tweak and customize any small setting from the UI.

@Jixabon yup, agreed on all points. profiles could be stored in /etc/raspap/profiles and selected in the UI

Been thinking on this a bit so sharing some ideas and thoughts.

• Default/included RaspAP developed profiles could be stored internally.
  • Would be shown prominently
  • Could replace/simplify scatered options/features around the UI.
• User profiles as @billz mentioned could be stored in /etc/raspap/profiles.
• For the time being could be another menu item of "Profiles", but I could see this becoming the main front facing interface. Perhaps a "Quick Setup" menu item below "Dashboard".
• Upload .profile file to user profile location
  • Using a shared .profile would be at the user's own risk due to ability to run commands. Should provide warning.
• If using a profile and settings are change give option to save new profile with said changes.

Possible .profile layout

• Language - json or yaml?
• Similar layout to defaults.json but should only contain what's to be applied
• Should reset all config to neutral state before applying profile
• pre-config and post-config options to run necessary commands with other options possible
• form options to allow variables in the profile
  • eg. Wireless Repeater profile - sets up two wireless interfaces to foward traffic but gives option in profile settings to set which interface to use for what. Then button to apply form options.
  • Provide a handful of different types of fields
    • Dropdown
      • User made options but also provide some preset options (eg Interfaces, WirelessMode, Channel, etc)
    • Interface Multiselect (useful for bridges)
    • IP Address Input
    • Text input
    • Toggle
    • And others

Hi, is this feature available? I have multiple Ethernet ports and would like to share internet over the other one. But right now there is no such option from the web ui.
