Dear Dr. Huo,
Greetings! I am a geoscience researcher from China, currently at the beginning of my PhD studies at Chang'an University in Xi'an, focusing on the Material Point Method (MPM) and the Julia programming language. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for open-sourcing the MaterialPointSolver.jl project. I believe it has tremendous potential, not only to advance the development of MPM itself but also to promote Julia in the field of high-performance numerical simulation.
While studying and using MaterialPointSolver.jl, I noticed that the current documentation only goes up to the “One-phase single-point MPM” section, and the subsequent content has not yet been completed. As I am very eager to learn and use your code in-depth, and I believe that many other researchers will be interested in the advanced features and usage as well, I am writing here to sincerely ask if you could update and complete the documentation soon, especially with a focus on how to use MaterialPointSolver.jl more freely and at a higher level, including detailed explanations of interfaces, extensibility, and practical examples.
As a new PhD student in the MPM and Julia fields, I am eager to dive deeper into MaterialPointSolver.jl and would very much like to collaborate with you in the future to help advance this area. If there is any opportunity to participate in documentation improvement or code testing, I would be more than happy to contribute!
Thank you again for your dedication and hard work. I look forward to your reply and to further improvements of MaterialPointSolver.jl!
Best regards,
Chen Jianchao
PhD Student in Geoscience, Chang'an University, Xi'an, China
